SGC Technologies is a new company founded in 2004 by the Director, Steven Wallace, and Associate Director, Greg Travis, of Indiana University's Advanced Network Management Lab. Steven and Greg have been involved in all stages of software-based produce development, in both higher education and commercial environments, for the last twenty years. SGC's first product, slashtmp (a secure file distribution product), is based on technologies developed, and in use, at Indiana University. SGC plans to pursue quickly implementable products to meet emerging business information management needs. SGC will develop its market primarily through reseller relationship with firms established in providing information management services.

SGC Technologies LLC expects to be leader in the use of the novel application of existing technologies to meet the information management needs of business. Steven and Greg bring experience and innovation, IU-licensed technology brings the product base, and an existing relationship with our anchor reseller connects us to our first customers. Our goal is to take this combination and build a sustainable Indiana-based company.
